Should I inform my homeowners insurance carrier that I've just taken down my trampoline?

I came home about 2 hours ago to find a flyer on my front door stating that an independent contractor for my homeowners insurance co had taken pictures of my entire property for updating purposes. My front, roof, side are all in excellent shape....my problem is that my backyard is MESSY and I had my son's old dilapidated trampoline in it!! I JUST disassembled it as 1. it's something we've been meaning to do for a LONG time.... 2. I know from the various commercials that its a hazard to have.

Should I preemptively call my agent and inform her of this, OR, just patiently await my phone call/letter stating I may be cancelled???

Also, can you get in trouble with your ins. co. for having a cluttered back yard??

Thanks!

About the trampoline, yes, call your agent. You might be asked to provide photographic evidence. About the cluttered back yard, it might depend on what the clutter is. If it's something that could potentially cause harm to someone using the yard (like a dilapidated swing set, some pieces of broken concrete, a fence in disrepair?), then your insurance agency might have a problem with it.
I know how easily a back yard can get out of control. I was working on a house project for most of the summer and the back yard turned into a jungle. Look at this as good incentive to get your yard cleaned up; you'll enjoy it more yourself.
