It takes time and practice. Try running every day but start slow and a shorter distance. Work your way up every day. Drink a lot of water and eat healthy. Try eating a banana about 20 minutes before a run to prevent running cramps.

If you are really slow, start working on a treadmill. The good thing about treadmills is that you can control the speed much more precisely. Set it for a mile, run for a few times to get used to it. Then start increasing the speed at the last quarter of your run. Increase only half a mile at a time. Then on your next run, increase the speed on the quarter before the last and then the quarter before that and then the first quarter. And so on. You don't have to do the increasing daily. Every two days, three days or whatever works. If you do this you will be where you want in one or two months.
