I am building a PC for the first time, any tips?
I know how to put everything together and I have access to all of the equipment I need to build it (anti-static wrist straps, anti-static bags, anti-static mats, screwdrivers, etc.) but I haven't purchased any parts yet. Is there anything that I can cheap out on? I have a limited budget of around $500, and I'd like to put the bare minimum together for gaming (for the time being, the worst thing I need to run now is Minecraft, maybe TF2). I'd like to know what I can cheap out on and maybe what brands I should be looking to buy. (Just saying, I'm going to get 4 GB of RAM out of the gate, then buy another stick [same stick], and yes, I do know about compatibility.)
