Coffee causing false sense of urgency
I have been drinking coffee for many, many years now, and recently have had a problem with frequent bathroom visits. The problem involved both the bladder as well as the bowel. A couple of weeks ago, I stopped my coffee (for other reasons) and immediately was relieved of my symptoms. Now comes the hard part... My focus, concentration, and overall alertness have all gone kaput! Also, I have been sleeping more than usual - I am a college student, at age 46, and really need my coffee! How do I get my coffee each morning without using the bathroom every 20 minutes (and sometimes, in the bathroom for as much as 45 minutes, or more)?
