Scientifically what is the real age a person is an adult?

Technically the point at which an organism becomes an "adult" is when it is able to reproduce, however "young adults" often still have a lot of growing and maturing to do even in animals,

they asked "scientifically" .. "biologically" a person animal or ANY organism is an ADULT when they can successfully reproduce (have babies)

here in the U.S. of A., it is 18 years in the tooth

For an anthropologist, adult age is determined by culture of person. Body does not finish developing until about 25.

When they quit growing physically. That could be 15 or it might be 18. They are usually in their adult body by the time they reach 18.

Adulthood in humans is a psychological term, not physiological. Technically, we can reproduce at around 14 or 15, but do not become mentally mature until around 25 or so. 18 is the "legal" age of competency, but has nothing to do with biological "adulthood" In other words, there is no good answer to your question.
