I need help by people who know who big nanotechnology will be in the future.
So I'm about to get a job about in a month (I'm 15) and I've always been a big saver. I bit of background I'm a huge fan of Ray Kurzweil's work into Nanotechnology and AI and I was thinking that it would be a good idea to invest a couple thousand dollars into nanotechnology stocks by the time I graduate High School. These would be long term because Mr. Kurzweil predicts NT to enter mainstream by 2025 and then spread on from there-off. Is this a good idea? My teacher (Who is a heavy investor, he makes x2 the money being an investor than a teacher) says I should wait until I have a stable job but that could take YEARS and I think the sooner the better. I was also thinking of investing into renewable energy sources and into companies that make the battery components of electric vehicles. My main goal is that I want to be financially successful in life and this could be my ultimate chance but I do understand the risks with the stock market as well.
