Is applying for jobs online a waste of time?

Report as

Not as long as you communicate with the hiring manager to see if they viewed your application. Personally, I've filled out many job applications and I still don't have a job yet but for most places, that's where you have to fill them out. I guess it's because they might spill coffee on your paper application, whereas the online one will be there.

No. Some places only accept applications online. That's how they hire.
