My birth certificate was chewed by a dog, I glued it back together, will it still pass immigration to board a cruise ship?

The seal is raised and visible and date of birth/registration number/name is legible. It just look mangeld.

The cruise is tomorrow. FML?

Report as

I doubt it, it should be intact, legible and a certified raised seal on it.

I'd go back and get another copy, they should keep you in record.

granted, but I'm with my parents/grandparents/girlfriend/sister. Is it just a "type of mood" immigration is in?

Do you have a passport to use instead? The only thing you can do is try. I would also bring with any other form of identification you have. A license, school ID card, social security card. Good luck and Bon Voyage!

Your reasoning?

A passport, voter registration card, drivers license, etc - I think as long as you have 2 forms of ID you should be fine.
