What stuffing mix do you prefer to use for Thanksgiving?

I use to use Kelloggs stuffing mix, but they discontinue it. So I have not found a stuffing mix I like. Does anyone have any suggestions on what you like to use.

Get some italian or french bread. Cut into 3/4 " slices, then cut the slices into squares. Spray a flat pan with olive oil, scatter the bread on the pan, spray with a little olive oil. Dust the bread with garlic salt, Italian seasoning, or what you want. Put into a hot oven @ 350 degrees for a few minutes on broil, watch and as soon as the bread starts to brown, it's done. Take it out and put it in the bird.

Stove Top is popular but the best stuffing is home made.

Mashed potatoes made from real potatoes with diced celery, giblets (optional), bacon, butter and seasoning. Mix it all together and it's terrific! It's a family tradition to make it like this. We like it so much we bake two casserole dishes and and on top of that we make enough to stuff the turkey with it. You can probably tweak it by putting in foods that you like. I was just thinking mushrooms would probably be good for instance. Good luck and have a nice holiday!

Pepridge Farms, but I doctor it up! About twice as much butter as they call for, sausage, mushrooms, more butter! It doesn't really matter if you use the cubes or the crumbs, but we prefer cubes. Sautee everything but the bread and then pour it over the bread. Use canned chicken broth. The recipe on the boxes are pretty straightforward, just increase butter, and add whatever good stuff you want, like celery (a little bit), mushrooms, sausage, walnuts are good if there are no allergies. Stuff both the inside cavity and the neck cavity; also make a spare pan. Yummy leftovers are hot turkey sandwich with stuffing and gravy...sometimes mashed potatoes also...really good.

One of the best for my taste is the recipe found on a tube of Jimmy Dean sausage . I doctor it a little for myself, but the basic recipe has been used in my family for years.
