Can I cut my split ends with normal school scissors?

I have some school scissors at home but I don't know if its OK to cut with that type of scissors...thank you for your help cupcakes! ^.^

If they aren't sharp enough, they could just make more split ends, like a hydra

You can, but you're not going to do your hair any favors. School scissors are dull, and they will crush the hair rather than slice it, leaving a rough tip and causing MORE split ends.

You can go to Sally Beauty Supplies and get professional hair scissors, which are much, much sharper.
