You stay in your grave until the Horn is blown , then to the Lord is the destination . There will be a Day of Judgement . Mankind will be sorted according to beliefs and deeds. The faithful will be vindicated, the disbelievers condemned .
( 47 ) And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant. (Translation of the Quran 21:47)
Then after the judgment either to Hell or Heaven .
( 185 ) Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion. (Translation of the Quran 3:185) .
Honestly my friend I just believe it ends. I know we all wish to think that there is something that happens after the end, and we all know deep down we want that to be true, but it's just highly illogical.
As a man who cares about nothing more than logic and science I accept the fact that there is little to no chance of anything happening after death.
We become "dust in the wind". It's over. We do have someone on this site who does believes in reincarnation like you do,, and maybe he will see this in a few hours when he gets up and can help you with your beliefs. Everyone has a right to believe how they wish. Sometimes, it's all we have in this world , are our beliefs...no matter what they are. Hopefully however, they will be moral beliefs. That's what matters in the end, that we lived our lives to the best of our ability and helped others best we could.
when a person die and buried in the grave , the judgement will starts. two angel comes and ask him about his/her right and wrong action which did in this world. if the person was guilty so the grave change to a deep and dark place of hell and if the person was not guilty so the grave change to a big garden of paradise and both guilty and non guilty person keep on that situation till dooms day.
Dear RoseBeri, I am part of the coterie who thinks we just continue on after "death," with not all that much difference...
I am reading a biography of William Blake right now, the great British poet, artist, and mystic...he described death as something like moving from one room to another.
And, if you enjoy books and have not read it yet, try TESTIMONY OF LIGHT: An Extraordinary Message of Life After Death, by Helen Greaves. Two women who were good friends in England in the 1950's and 1960's practiced their skills in telepathy...and then, when one of them died, she began contacting the other one telepathically, describing what her life was like after death!
So, I am really looking forward to all this change from one room to the other, as the last great adventure of life, just as soon as the time is right! (Not going to hurry things along of course, but not going to cling frantically and fearfully to my physical body, either.)
The traditional Christian view has always been that those who believe will share eternal joy with God in heaven, while those who refuse God's love suffer endless separation from God. http://www.umc.org/site/apps/nlnet /content3.aspx?c=lwL4KnN1LtH&b=4746357&ct=3008067
Some say, you know when your about to go. And through the process, you see your loved ones welcoming you. Kind of like your hallucinating. & then, you go. My mom said this one time when she thought she was dead or something, she seen this bright white light, but then she was brought back. But those are just things I read up on. You'll just have to see for yourself
I've got more than a theory. God told us the truth in the Bible. Have you read it? You need to read it every day. After we die we will be in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ if we are born again saved children of God. If we have been fighting against God, we are definitely in trouble. We need to follow Jesus in order to escape hell. Read John 10:27-29.
Death is like sleep in that the dead are unconscious and cannot do anything. However, the Creator of life can bring the dead back by means of a resurrection. In proof of that, God empowered Jesus to raise several dead people to life.—Read Ecclesiastes 9:5; John 11:11, 43, 44.
There are so many differing views on this matter. The bible is a great source to answer this question. Jesus likened death to a deep sleep when he told his disciples about his friend Lazarus. (John 11:11,13,14) So the person that dies has 'no thoughts' and 'knows nothing at all'. (Psalm 146:4, Ecclesiastes 9:5,10)
Genesis 3:19 says, "Dust you are and to dust you will return." Psalm 146:4 - "His breath goes out, he returns to the ground; on that very day his thoughts perish." But death is not the end. "There is going to be a resurrection" - Acts 24:15. Humans will be brought back to life on earth. God yearns to do it. Job 14:14,15.

At the moment of death, our eyes will be opened and we will know true reality. We will see ourselves the way God sees us then and we will either be escorted to heaven rejoicing with the angels or taken to hell "where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth". (Matthew 13:50)
From a christian perspective, our final destination is determined by one thing alone- -on whether or not we accepted Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as Lord and Savior and whether we followed His command to love one another always.
According to God's word the Bible: Ps. 146:4 says, "His spirit goes out, he returns to the ground; on that very day his thoughts perish."-- Eccl. 9:5,6 says in part, "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all..... Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished."
The Bible, however, holds out hope for the dead. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his[Jesus] voice and come out."-- Acts 24:15 says, "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."
Though death is very painful, and pangs all of Adam's offspring, Jehovah's purpose for obedient humankind will be realized. -- Rom. 5:12; Rev. 21:4
Death: The ceasing of all fictions of life. After breathing, heartbeat, brain activity stop, the life-force gradually ceases to function in body cells. "When Adam sinned, sin entered the entire human race. His sin spread death throughout all the world, so everything began to grow old and die. ( Romans 5:12). Living Bible As some people already said, your dead. You do not go anywhere, you turn back into dust. " In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken, for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." ( Genesis 2:15) KingJames Version of the Bible. It's very simple, religion makes it more complicated then it is. I go with what the Bible says. The God of the Bible does not torture people in Hell. This was all made up years after the death of Jesus. He did not teach Burning in Hell. Answer for the person that asked the question. Please research the Bible yourself, lots of theories on what happens to us when we die. They are not Bible based, some here on ask got it right without even being religious.
You go to heaven where God will judge you. If you believed in Jesus the Son of God and changed your ways to that of His, you will spend eternity in heaven, if you didn't no matter how good you were here on earth you will go to hell.
Two angels descend from heaven to your dying bedside. They let you know that there is a god, but that he lied all these years. He is not kind. There is no heaven (or hell). He was just playing a huge prank on all believers. You just die.
