Naproxen is NOT related to Tylenol, which is very, very dangerous to combine with alcohol, the Tylenol, I mean. Naproxen is related to Advil and Motrin, they are all NSAIDs(non steroidal antiinflammatory drugs). The NSAIDs are distantly related to aspirin, and they all can prolong the time it takes for your blood to clot. Alcohol does this as well. So you can see it would not be wise to combine them. It is not particularly dangerous to mix it with alcohol, but it is not particularly good for you either
Not really. It's a non narcotic pain reliever. Like a giant Advil or Tylenol. Just more mgs than over the counter. Read the warnings from the script. I believe that you can have a drink and be fine. Just may make you extra tired.
Just make sure you drink a whole lot of water, because you are mixing chemicals, (medications), and alcohol which will cause dehydration anyway without the OTC's that can build up toxicity in the blood.
