Organic is just food without pesticides and chemicals. Natural vs chemical?

Organic food is usually better because chemicals and pesticides aren't used to make it.

there is no difference as to nutritional value. the only difference is organic food is supposedly raised naturally without the use of chemicals. problem is many stores that proclaim food as organic have been exposed as selling food that actually was raised with the use of chemicals. who can you trust? why pay a premium for food that is the same as all the other food sold?

You give a good point, to expand on your comment, you would be better off eating food you grow yourself, instead of going by a sticker that says "Organic".

It think this is the rest of what you wanted to say, Correct?

actually, the chemicals used in the foods that we eat, vegetable and meat, can be directly linked to the multitude of childhood diseases we see so often today; diabetes, asthma, autism, etc. these were very very uncommon just 50 years ago. eating organically grown vegetables, poultry, and meat is smart and healthy

Most of the time yes. You can look up the most important or the top 10 foods to eat organic. I know one of them is spinach which I eat a lot of in salads so I make sure I buy it organic.

No difference in nutrition value. Organic may have more chance of salmonella so wash extra. Organic is so much more expensive! We love spinach in our salads and with noodles.

Wash it with dish washing soap and
rinse well and it becomes organic.

Fruit-washing soap which uses natural oils (organic) is generally considered more safe, although some dishwashing soaps are all natural. Either way, rinse well, as even organic ingredients can affect our bodies' systems.

99 percent of conventional super market foods have been genetically modified. When something is certified organic, it is referring to a product that not only didn't get pesticides and chemicals used on them, it also refers to the soil anything was grown in which has to be chemical free as well. Also to be organic the product can not contain genetically modified ingredients, and it cannot itself be a genetically modified ingredient. By doing research and buying certain organic products, it is more than paying a premium. It is to be aware that once again, 90+ percent of all food in America has been genetically modified and has come from 1 of 14 massive agro corporations, so buying organic and local is not just about the food you eat, it is about where you are spending your money and who you are giving power to. Is it to local farmers that have resisted Monsanto? Is it to small businesses, and good people, or is it to giant million/trillion dollar corporate entities that monopolize this countries food supply.

At this time, I think it is correct to say that everything we eat has been genetically modified in one way or another.
After my husband and I saw a movie about the "engineering" of our food, I wasted a lot of money converting to local "free-range" or pasture-fed but soon learned that the critters we eat or get milk and eggs from are being fed the GMO grasses and/or grains. We had MORE indigestion, constipation, internal bleeding, incontinence and/or difficulty urinating.
"Organic" is not safer and, in fact caused us more problems.

Here's why:
http://naturalsociety.com/admittedly-illegal-genetically-modified-soil-fungus-present-in-organic-products/

Everyone has been raised a little different and we are all on our own to find out what we can tolerate. That depends on age and what one has been exposed to. It is tough to live in these times.

Good comments, and some smart people here, so I'll add my 2 cents for you. Monsanto is the leading cause of diabetes in this country. Because they are the ones who invented the chemical "ASPARTAME". Just so you know, this chemical converts to formic acid in the body leading to serious and cumulative cell damage and conditions such as "Diabetes, heart disease, cancer, MS, and several others."
It also forces the body to produce and store more fat cells, making you gain weight. 99% of "Sugar-free" or "Diet" products have this additive. Oh, and diet soda isn't the only place you would expect to find it either, all the new "Low-calorie" drinks and foods have it too. Such as "Coke ZERO", Or "Pepsi ONE" just to name a few. And the low cal, sodas have more aspartame in them than the diet drinks. I know alot more if anybody is interested.

Organic doesn't contain your walmart pasteurized foods its a chemical that will give you cancer and organic cleaning and personal products to they use aluminum in it and what aluminum is for making iron!

From what I read in your comment, it seems as if you are saying that aluminum is used for making iron. That is incorrect. Those are two different kinds of metal ore.
And true pasturizing is done with high heat, it is not chemical based. And if you wish to reverse, stop, or inhibit cancer cell growth, the answer is simple. Oxygen kills cancer cells, and prevents new cancer cells from growing.

This is not actually true. Organic simply means that no extra chemicals were used while it was growing, and no pesticides were used on it. This does not take into account the chemicals added to the soil that was used to grow it, or the type of fertilizer used. So you are aware, the fertilizer is the most important, since it is where bacteria such as E-coli breeds. Some chemical additives on the food can actually make them safer as they destroy the bacteria. E-coli for example is aborbed through the soil into whatever you are growing. E-coli is a bacteria strain produced in the intestines. And the primary fertilizer used in this country is cow dung. Which also has the highest amount of E-coli in it. To be safest, grow your own food, and use certain types of natural compost to grow it. Oddly, one of the best things to use as natural compost, is used coffee grounds!

Well actually, there are some chemicals being used on organic foods that scientists believe have no internal effect on humans.

I wouldn't put much stock in what scientists tell you. Most of them are paid by the big corporations such as MONSANTO to say that they have no effect.

Organic is always better. Organic business are inspected. If you do not want to spend the money on organic wash your fruit & vegetables in 1 part vinegar & 3 parts water & rinse with distilled or purified water. DO NOT use dish soap!
