When going on a cruise, say to Bermuda, how much do cruises typically limit the amount of baggage you are allowed to bring aboard?

Do you bring your own toothpaste, shampoo,or do they supply the basics? I know you can bring your own personal toiletries, lotion, make up etc ,but As airlines limit and inspect your belongings for safety reasons, such as not being permitted to bring aboard liquid bottles over a certain amount of ounces,do cruise ships do this too? When I pack for my cruise I just want to make sure I'm not going to have to discard anything before docking.

Suggest you contact the cruise line you are going on or TSA. In general you should have no problem bringing your own stuff. The hard part is when you return. Don't try and bring in extra booze or Cuban cigars.
