the manager asked this girl her hire date?
why will she need to know this? i think she mayyyy have put in another two weeks notice bc the first time she didn't quit.

Not trying to be a smart alec but why do you care? There's any of a number of reasons why a manager would want to know a hire date. They could be calculating vacation time. It doesn't really concern you so you should just leave it alone. (Just suggesting) t

TIP: Don't get involved in office drama or even gossip. Do your job the best way you know how, and keep improving. every day.
There are literally dozens of reasons to ask that question, and honestly the DOH would be irrelevant if an employee were getting termed.
HIPPA and Labor laws are crucial when employee information and privacy are concerned. You may want to use this as a lesson in the future, or you will ruin the risk of being the one who is getting fired.
