I'm moving soon and i want to buy a new guitar. i no long have an amp. Whats the cheapest portable amp/effect unit i can get for the road.

I'm getting a Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded Model and I just need something that will work. I've looked at the Mini Vox Headphone Amp Plugs and The few mini amps out there.. I just don't think they cut it for me though. I have a laptop, and I've tried amplitube .. It wasn't very good.

I need some suggestions on things, maybe there is something out there i haven't tried and maybe something I can be satisfied with.

The value of the amp is dependent of various facts like the size, the place and the type. I suggest you some compare the price from different store before you buy. Check out jazzguitar.be has more details.

Not exactly a answer. What i'm looking for is something around the lines of a Mini-Amp just to use on the road. Something like a small amp modeler that i can get a good sound without having to carry around a 100w amp.. I normally play rock, classic rock, and blues.
