How do I tell my older brother that I want to move in with my boyfriend?

First of all, I am 22 and my older brother is 26. We live together and he basically took care of me all his life. Our Dad lives with us too, but he hasn't really been father of the year. Dean (big bro) knows my boyfriend, we've been dating for 2 years. We've been talking about moving in together, but I know that Dean won't be happy about this, he made it clear to my boyfriend that if he takes advantage of me in any way or if he pressures me into having sex he will kill him D:
Despite our ages, he still treats me like a little kid even when I tell him that I am an adult. I love my big bro more than anything, how can I tell him about wanting to move out without him getting angry?

This is the first time you have wanted to move out, away from your brother. There is no way he is not going to be upset. But ask him calmly. Tell him your boyfriend is not pressuring you, is not taking advantage of you. If your brother starts to lose his temper, say something like, "Okay, we need to talk later." and walk away. You can't reason with someone while they are really angry. If push comes to shove, you are over 21 and you can move out without your brother's approval. But keep things as calm as possible. It is much easier for a family quarrel to be forgotten if it doesn't get out of hand.
