How do you not know this? Just brush till all the food and germs are off. Its like taking a shower you don't time your self in the shower you just get out when you are clean brushing/flossing is the same.

I learned when I was younger to brush my teeth worth two songs of my ABC's, which is approximately two minutes anyway, so just brush for that long. You want to make sure you get the tooth brush all around your mouth, up and down on the front teeth, and make sure you get your bottom row. Also don't forget those molars back there! I hope this helps!! Don't get any cavities!
Brush your teeth for at least two minutes in the morning before breakfast and last thing at night before you go to bed. Never brush your teeth straight after a meal as it can damage your teeth, especially if you've had fruit, fizzy drinks, wine or any other food that contains acid.
Here is what I do: 1) After breakfast I brush my teeth for 2 min. and 30 sec. 2) I use mouthwash and floss my teeth. 3) After lunch I brush my teeth for 2 min. 4) After supper/dinner I brush my teeth 2 min. and 30 sec. 5) I use mouthwash and floss my teeth. According to UCLA Dental school advise 2 minutes. Get an electric toothbrush because the sideways movement of toothbrushes damage your gums as happened to me. And most important get a rubber Dental Pick which will remove all the gunk between teeth. This is very effective.
Twice one day and each time for two minutes! It is determined by the specific situation, if you are at an emergency, you can just make your dental teeth clean and freshness. It may be a job you should do for your life times, baby !
