There is no one way to describe the life of a high school dropout. There are rare cases where high school dropouts have found tremendous success for themselves, but they are the exception. Majority of people who have dropped out of high school and did not receive their GED and continue their education face very difficult lives, usually living in poverty or in the lower class. They usually work low-wage jobs and barely get by from week to week.
