We dream because it is our feelings that come out from our subconscious mind. That is where are deepest thoughts, fears, and feelings are stored. If you have dreams of falling you might be having feelings of not being successful or something to that extent.
Dreaming isn't just our subconscious hopes and fears unleashed. It's a very powerful type of intuitive and creative thought. It isn't just a symbolic reflection of your deepest thoughts, it IS deep thought. The brain has an amazing capacity for higher thinking when you're unconscious and physical functions are slowed down and not taking up as much brain power. People can write whole songs, stories etc. in their sleep - the trick is remembering them when you wake up. Your mind really works through your problems when you're asleep, too, if you're just willing and able to listen to and understand what it is saying.
There's no reason why we dream really. I think when we dream, it's what we would see if we weren't conscious of ourselves and our surroundings throughout the day. The purpose in sleep is simply to recover. The mind is still running, as well as the rest of the body, so dreaming is simply your mind going over many things at once.
Dreams are our only connection to the psychic universe. Because the average human uses only 10% of his or her brain, he or she is only able to remember a small amount of his or her experiences. A human may be able to remember more of his/her experiences if he/she can use more than ten percent of the brain. An increased quantity of brain usage may also allow us to consciously access the psychic realm.
All the above are reasons. Our brain is working all day long, picking up bits and pieces we are not even aware that we are picking up. When we dream, our brain or sub-conscience sifts through all this information, and we learn from those things. I have had some weird dreams and wonder what the heck I learned from that!
I found out that when we dream, we are dreaming about the things that we wish we could be doing in reality. We all know that we can't fly in reality, so most of us do it in our dreams. Some people have dreams that they are having s(e)x with certain celebrities. Or just dreaming about being around celebrities. Even though it is impossible to do in reality.
Nobody knows for sure WHY we dream, a lot of answers here are just guesses. It's just something our brain does and scientists can't figure out why or how we see images in our sleep. Fun fact: Our brain can't make up faces, if you see a face in a dream, it's someone you have at least seen before, whether you remember it or not.
A dream is a wish our heart makes when were sleeping. Also another theory is that dreams typically reflect our emotions. During the day, our brains are working hard to make connections to achieve certain functions. When posed with a tough math problem, your brain is incredibly focused on that one thing. Hope this helps you. :)
Dreaming is about past, future, and present propagation's that you so happened to be thinking about before falling asleep. Maybe even some things you wish would happen, such as dating, relationships, and etc.. You actually dream when you are in a stage of sleep called (REM sleep). When you are in this stage you are actually awake but appear to be sleeping. Most nightmares happen when you are sleep, and other dreaming activity.
from hour to hour deep sleep, you release some flux of energy from hypothalamus during daytime surplus accumulation of stress or super excitation, See also extra sugar in your bloods stream, window open during the night excess of monoxide on the air super flux gastric acid in the stomach hate to much food before sleep, Anxiety, Stress will also contribute to dreaming during the night.
When we sleep, the brain is cleaning up what we've experienced (filtering what should go to long-term memory from the short-term, and so forth). It takes about 8 hours to do so. When it is done, it shows us visions.
Dreaming is your brain processing information whether it's emotions that produce interpretive dreams or your brain is just calculating things to determine a better response. If you played a video game before you went to sleep your brain will be calculating it in your sleep and you will actually perform better next time.
Dreaming is held as our feeling that come out from our subconscious mind. But most of us finds it difficult to define, as sometimes dreams are set of goals that visualizes through our planning or may be something culminating from our past. So it is better to keep our mind clear of any type of negative thought process, rather targets should be set to dream big & conquer the world.
There are a lot of theories of why we dream, some experts say they don't know why. I like the Contemporary Theory of Dreaming. With this theory experts suggest that connections are always being made and unmade in the brain. When we are asleep and dreaming the connections are made less loosely and less focused than when we are awake. Also they suggest our emotions guide our dreams. It is also suggested that we may also be "weaving in" new material into the mind.
