I always used Dawn dish washing liquid and very hot water. Then buff them up with pledge or Windex. Its really according to what your cabinets are made out of. The cleaner 409 is great at removing grease too without harming the wood or surface.
I always used bleach in my water but when I am rushing around I would not think twice about a bit of oven cleaner spray. Grease is very hard to clean. Time is an issue. I have more important things to do.
I use 409 and it cuts through grease quickly. Don't purchase it from a Dollar store as it was reported on TV that some of the liquid cleaning products were weaker there. I don't know this to be true, but just get it from a grocery store or the likes of WalMart, etc. and you'll be fine. If the elderly women use it, then I use it!
Rheada has the right one... dawn dish soap with hot water. I have a repair shop and get messy grease cleaned off my hands with dawn. It works better than products that the industry makes specially for cleaning grease
