Should I switch to Linux from Windows?
About 1 or 2 months ago, I got a cheap laptop. However, it is great for its price. In fact, amazing its price. I can play games on it without a ton of lag. The thing is, it runs Windows 8. I hate Windows 8. Windows XP was nice and simple, and the changes from Windows XP to Windows 7 were mainly visual. However, Windows 8 is just horrible. It tries to make a PC a tablet, when it's not a tablet. A PC IS A PC. So I've heard about Linux, but while Windows 8 sucks horribly, I'm worried about my files being changed around and the learning curve. Should I switch to Linux or stay on Windows 8?
