Why is it that in all wristwatch ads the time is always 10 minutes after ten?
usually the name of the watch or clock is front and centered on the upper quadrant of the face. in the ad world it is desirable for the two hands to "frame" the maker.
It's probably one of those subliminal advertisement things don't worry about it.
It probably did not get programmed right. Go online, type in the make and model into your search engine, and look for an owners manual, it should have a way to change the time for you.
