Use Sally hansens nail growth base coat it works really well your nails grow faster per week! Also use a cuticle oil to keep your cuticle healthy. If you dont want to buy any products then drink a lot of water and eat a lot of vegetables. One other last thing, if you soak your hands and nails in a small bowl with warm water, salt, and olive oil it will soften your hands and help nail growth as well!
rub lotion on them it sounds stupid but it works and try not to paint your nails or do anything harmful to them also try not to soak them in water a lot bc that softens the nail and that doesnt mean dont wash your hands but like just dont dunk your hands in water alot
Multivitamins are great, especially pre-natal ones. Be religious about it and take one each and every day. There's a tea tree oil nail strengthening treatment widely available at drugstores in the section with the Sally Hansen stuff if you're interested in that.
Make sure and use rubber gloves when washing dishes, and wear gardening gloves when doing gardening or heavy housecleaning. Before you put on your gloves, slather lotion or oil on your hands. (I love coconut oil.) In the cosmetic section of the store, they have thin cotton gloves. Before bed, put lotion all over your hands and put on your gloves. For softer feet, rub feet and toes with oil/lotion, then pull on some socks. Your feet will thank you!
before i put on nail polish i use cuticle oil to tuck in NOT CUT my cuticles. I then lightly lotion my hands and massage my cuticles and nail beds for about 5 minutes. Then i use a nail growth formula and a protecting/strengthening base. To let my nails grow, i usually use a light color, maybe a white, nude, or baby pink. It doesn't matter if you use a top coat. After the nails polish has been on for two weeks, i take them off with a remover that's jam packed with vitamins. After all of the nail polish is off, i put olive oil on my hands, nails and, cuticles and let that sit overnight. Finally i take vitamins pills specially made for hair skin and nails that was approved by my doctor.
yes their is if your a nail bitter like i was just tell your self dont bite your nails and paint your nails so you wont be tempted to mess with them because they will be pretty or if you dont like harsh chemicals just put a nail strenghthener and 5 to 7 day nail polish on you nails and put a top coat of clear polish and it looks like a french manicure if your tips of your nails are white and they will also be pretty so you wont be tempted i would prefer the 2nd one best i use this myself
Here is a list of essential health tips for Nails 1. Apply garlic paste to your nails twice a week or simply cut a garlic clove in half and rub it on your nails 2.protect your fingers from harmful chemicals, always wear gloves 3.Trim your nails regularly to get rid of any weak parts and apply petroleum jelly before going to bed 4.Moisturise your nails with olive oil 5.Avoid biting and scratching your nails 6.Avoid painting your nails with polishes than contain formaldehyde, toluene and sulfonamide
The Following are the steps to make nails grow strong and fast.
1) Stop biting them. Yes, it's pretty hard. But they have some bitter tasting polishes on the market. Go to the grocery store and pick up one. You can use it on your bare nail, or on top of polish, the only thing is, they may have to be re-applied every few days for the bitter taste to stay.
2) Keep nail files around. Just file once a week. Depending on genes, nails may break easily. Nails often break if they are uneven, and nails naturally grow unevenly. So stash files everywhere, and whenever you see unevenness, file them all to the same length, shape, and size.
3) Drink water. Your nails will love you for it. You can also take multi vitamins to speed up growth and lotion helps keep the moisture in.
4) Also try to handle more natural items so swap plastic for wood, fabric- leather etc. You can do this by simply buying more natural items, so that means no sweets! It's hard but if you get off the sugar for a while your nails will grow stronger and won't break as easily.
