Why bother, he's the one who screwed himself out of a tip.

dollar bills dont cause that much damage but if you just tipped him a quarter well.

I did not give him quarter but there was change to make the tip exact and that's what he threw

Tip better. Delivery drivers and restaurant servers live off their tips.

it does not mean he should take it off on me. what , I was supposed to give him $5 for a plate of $10 penne vodka? Im a single girl living alone and I did not appreciate this act of violence towards me

Of course it isn't something you should put up with. But no one appreciates a couple coins when they *live* off of tips. He spent probably two or three dollars in gas just driving to your house. I'm single and live alone too. But, if I have the money to order a meal instead of cook, I also make sure to have the money to tip. A buck or two wouldn't have broke you, obviously. Seems apparent that you've never worked in a food related industry.

I like your logic, but how about this: I buy food outside and save money on having my stove turned off. so once again, don't gudge if im buying meal outside , I have money to throw around.
and yes, I did work in food industry, I gave him $2 tip if I didn't mention, maybe $1.75 so what DO U HAVE TO SAY NOW. the only thing that's obvious here is that people like that should not be working in food industry. ive been disappointed many times, but kept my head up instead of flipping on people its hard for you to admit he was wrong and it seems to me you also did deliveries and been burnt by people but it does not justify this kind of behavior!

oh and the place is walking distance from my home, around the corner... still going to justify this kind of flipping off on people?....
or maybe his girlfriend left him, and he hates women, ... is THAT ok to treat women this way you'll say??... lol

You're right. And you didn't mention your percentage, which is well within a fair range. But gee, maybe for some reason, your extremely friendly disposition didn't exactly win him over. . .

Lol, I'm sorry. . .but are you really trying to pervert this discussion into sexism? That's sad. There's that magnetic personality if yours again.

Ok, look; Thing is, you're reading too much into it. He was being a stupid kid. They do that. Call for another pizza, request the same driver, and chew his a$$ when he shows up. Make him take personal responsibility. You'll feel vindicated, and he'll learn a little humility.
