It depends what you mean by "good". Do you want a cheap fright or to explore the human condition, as in all good drama? The UK version of Being Human is good drama and deals with ethics and moral choices as well as the odd fright. I have a soft spot for Kolchak:the night stalker which is about 40 years old. Did it all before the boys of Supernatural. You can catch episodes on Youtube I think. The Canadian vampire series Forever Knight was good.

"Being Human" is the best. It has both and the subject matter is thought provoking. It has plenty of blood and gore for those who like that, but it makes one think about choices we make in our lives. I was never a big fan of vampire or werewolf or zombie shows. When the U.S. version of this show came on the Syfy channel I fell in love with it. It's so good it's almost believable to be real.

The new show that has just came out in America,''Wolfblood'',is a good show about Werewolves but it has yet to mention anything about Vampires.Notice that I say yet.It is very new and not much of it has came out.
It's hard to beat the old ones; I liked Christopher Lee as Dracula in "Brides Of Dracula" (1960). But I thought that "the Wolfman" (2010) with Anthony Hopkins and Benicio del Toro was a good remake of the old classic, and it did win an Academy Award for Best Makeup!
