what is the name for a Muslim women headdress?
There are many names - hijab, khemar, niqab, and burqa - each of which are a different "style" and have varying amounts of coverage.
Hijab is the Arabic word meaning "to cover" and is usually used to refer to a headscarf. Burqa refers to head and face covering I believe, however, I am not Muslim.
It really depends on the type of Muslim woman you are referring to. Middle Eastern women generally cover their hear wearing hijabs and you also see women here in the US covering their hair with a regular scarf or a headpiece.Headpiece http://www.chicagotribune.com/media/photo/2012-02/344478100-26192520.jpgHijab http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YCannqUG4mI/To90aV0GfCI/AAAAAAAAA18/8MWrOS8LJHU/s1600/scarf+gold+beauty.jpg
There are different names. But generally, all of it is called the hijab.
