Report as

No, it's larger...6/8 = 3/4

Report as

Nope..... Wait, 3/4 in what? As in, what segments? <<i.e. inches, centimeters, feet, etc.>>

{{{I'm pretty sure that either which way, the answer is no anyways.}}}

Report as

larger 3/4 is the same as 6/8

Report as

Larger, if you convert it into 8ths its 6/8 so it's larger

Report as

It is; picture 3/4 like this: o o o - three of the four spots are filled with a character. Now multiply that by two so the bottom of the fraction is 8. You now have 6/8. Picture it like this: oo oo oo -- For every one circle there is one more and for every one blank spot there is another as well. 5/8 is like this: oo oo o- -- there are 5 circles and three empty spots. There are more circles in oo oo oo -- (which is the same as o o o -) than there are in oo oo o- -- (which is 5/8)

Report as

3/4 is larger because if you want 3/4 to be cut into eighths you multiply each side of 3/4 by 2 so 3 times 2 = 6 and 4 times 2 =8 so 3/4 = 6/8 and 6/8 is larger than 5/8

Report as

3/4 is larger, multiply 3/4 by 2/2 which is 6/8 which is greater than 5/8
