Help others who are less fortunate. Give of your time to shut-ins, children and the elderly. Work in a soup kitchen. The weakness of others is an opportunity to show and share the love of God through you.
think of the things u are grateful for.. think of people that make you happy.. or a pet.. u have to retrain your thoughts.. and talk about what it is that is making you depressed with someone u love.. whatever u are holding onto let it go. Exercise along with a good diet.. it is a tranformation from the inside out and takes effort so if u want to choose to be happy u can it is in all a choice.. But u gotta put in the work.
Read James 1:2. Pray... call a brother or sister. I like to call bad thoughts birds. You can't stop them from flying by, but you can stop them from nesting. Through praying, reading Bible, or praising God.
pray and listen to christian music. There are lots of songs that can help you. Some artists or band that I recommend are: sidewalk prophets, tenth avenue north, Matthew West, Chris tomlin, Jeremy camp, casting crowns, mercyme, jonny diaz, and mandisa. Also read the and always remember that God loves you no mattrr what and he is always their for you even when you fill you are alone and Iam ralking from experience. I really hope this helps you. I agree with MonaSez. When you're active with those that need help in your church and/or community, it takes from your own problems. There's a sense of satisfaction. It's rewarding. God's word even says, 'Give, & it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38.
