Differences between Group Discussions and Public Speaking

Report as

Some of the differences between group discussions and public speaking are that group discussions involve the group as a standard. One person leads and others contribute. While in public speaking, there can be one person or more who leads the discussion or speaks on the topic individually. It is customary in this setting to allow the audience to participate only at the discretion of the speaker. At that, it will most likely only be in the form of questions and answers.
