The history of cancer can be traced back from 460BC to 370BC. There were several types of cancers that were described by that time. The treatment of the cancer was based on the humor theory of the four bodily fluids. It consisted of blood-letting and a diet and the theory treatment was around until the discovery of cells in the 19th century. This is according to reference from, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cancer#History.
Cancer has been around for a very long time. Egyptian mummies have had bone cancer. Hippocrates described cancer aound 460 BC. Many have researched it. In 16-1700 it became more acceptable to disect bodies to find the cause of death so drs could study it better from then on. In the late 19th century radiation was discovered.

Here is my view of cancer. Let#039;s go back just a few thousand years in human timeline. Hell even a few hundred years and soon you#039;ll realize our life expectancy was around 30 years hence female becomes fertile at 10+ years old. Now, at present time we are out living the years our bodies are designed to live by technological breakthroughs in medications, healthy clean food, water, etc. having said that we are living beyond the years our human body was originally designed to live. We have pushed this extended living envelop at a speed of light. Cancer will always be here b/c it#039;s nature way of saying, it#039;s time. the study of cancer cure is going well but that person is prolonging other pain(s) for that person. let the nature take its course for godsakes.
