Unfortunately wrong on two counts.. 1. god (any of 'em) didn't do it, and 2. it didn't happen instantly.

Honestly, why are you guys so arrogant?????? i am not trying to be rude, but i know you know god is real! Deep down inside of you, yet you dont want to have to follow his rules and listen to him. Rembember, we will not be in these bodies forever. you are just pleasuring your body, not your spirit. And why is it that everyone always argues with christianity, but none of the other gods? Because we know he is real.
Report as
Arrogance is claiming you know the only true path. I believe in no gods, especially not yours, who is tyrannical and impotent to exercise any influence on our world. Now answer the question.

OMFG candy stop talking!!!! You are just making Christians look like morons!!!!! I truly apologize for all of the things he has said. As a Christian, I personally believe in intelligent design (evolution), as well as most other scientific truths, and don't think that God just plopped us on Earth. I'd love to say more but I'm too lazy, just had to stop the nonsense.

I'm trying! But my parents always told me never to back down! im serious, they reminded me and reminded me it is stuck in my brain forever. not to mention, my daughter just woke up and forced me to watch Baby first
Report as
@Candy, I do hope that you refrain from brainwashing your daughter the way your parents brainwashed you. Reality has a lot to offer. If your daughter wants to make her way in the world outside of being a nun, having a touch of intelligence will be required, and the ability to ask questions and insist on answers. Religion has been very good at "Don't ask questions, just believe what I tell you." Kind of like listening to Faux News for all of your information.

God made all languages!
Report as
"face-palm" Oh, the stupidity.. so where in the bible does it say that? Seems to me that there were plenty of languages around when the bible was written. Each community developed their own based on those around them. In the past, there were hundreds of thousands of them, now just thousands, trending towards hundreds.. I don't think god made any of them.

and "Adam'' and ''Eve'' where born

Words were invented when we were cavemen. We would point to certain things to communicate what we wanted to say and grunt. Eventually we would get to the point where many of the grunts were so different but we could also combine them to make words.

Ok, I'll throw in my 2 cents worth on this conversation as well, why not. Keeping existence/non-existence of God out of my input in this conversation if we as a people lived by the words of the new testament of the bible, even as it is today, polished by the church with things removed that they didn't feel should be there. If we as a whole could somehow follow the ideals set forth in the combined works. Being good to each other, doing to others as we would like them to do to us, not murdering each other, not stealing each others mates, not cheating on our mates, not doing any of the negative things so prevalent in the world today. If we could go back to teaching our children these ideals, That life is important, not just our own, but others lives as well. That it IS possible to make a sentence using words with more than 4 letters and without vulgarity. That helping our neighbor makes us as a person, and as a people feel better as a whole than hurting them. That there are things more important in this universe than ourselves. That unexplained things can happen when we put our mind to concentrate on the problem for a period of time (known as praying in the religious community). That if we come together as a people doing good together we can accomplish much more than we can by doing bad alone or together. That paying respect to each other costs us nothing and rewards everyone greatly. That there are no limits to the amount of good we can do when we try to do good and it can live on forever in other people, yet doing evil most times dies with the person doing it and is done and gone. Why is it so hard for some people to see these things are good for EVERYONE, not just for those who have Chosen to believe in a specific God? You can pick apart anything you want including this letter and find something bad about it as people will do with the bible, or you can take the overall meaning and the good stuff and apply it to your life and better yourself and those around you, with or without God.

Words are invited by the sound waves that are made from wind after going through the lungs and out of the mouth if the tongue is moving with the vibrations of the wind power left in the throat. After that, it was a series of sounds that made it sound like a word at first because cavemen didn't understand any language but grunts. So over time, sound got more improved and it allowed words to be used. Every language was mixed when the Tower of Babel was formed and now all languages use sound. Back in the old times, words were invited by not only by sound but writings, but mainly writings.

As our species became more social, it became necessary to communicate in more complex ways. Communication is an essential tool that binds groups together and allows for coordinated hunting techniques. Also, communication allows for information that was learned to be passed from one person to another. This is the biggest difference between monkeys and humans. Even if you teach a specific skill to a monkey, they are unable to pass it on to another monkey because they don't have developed communication skills.

It probably developed as a means of coordinating work-related tasks beween a group of people instead of being invented by a single person and being spread to others thereafter. Hence communication came built in although limited to those who participated in the initial development. The spread that followed, however, was not a great problem as friendly sharing of living space and work responsibilities would have been highly conducive to learning by imitation.

As for the time of birth of human language, Merritt Ruhlen of Stanford proposes ca. 60,000 BP, around the time modern humans, aka Homo sapiens sapiens, emerged in east Africa.

It started out from pointing at any item, to saying any random words, to talking.

First started as pointing and grunting, then a few stabilized sounds, meaning fire, rock, weapon, danger, etc. all the important stuff. Then came roots, which the Mesopotamia words were built off of. Then after the first few roots (i think) greek roots came, which english was based on.

God: Hey Adam, I want you to name these animals

Adam: Okay...........How do I do that?

God: Figure it out yourself, son. You'll never truly have intelligence if I do everything for you! Besides, you'll remember them better if you do it yourself, instead of me giving you random names.

-----------
Adam: I finished naming the animals :D

God: Good job son. Wasn't so hard was it?

Adam: It was a challenge :L. Hey, quick question.

God: Mhm?

Adam: What do I call you?

God: Yahweh.....at least for now.

The earliest form of it would be the animals making all kinds of different noises as part of their communication. Eventually, homo sapiens came along from more primitive species.
