A lot of any hard veggie can make your stomach hurt, and give your stool, and sometimes your skin, an orange tint. Not bad in general, but the rule of thumb for almost everything is, "Anything to excess is a problem." It can keep you out of all sorts of problems throughout your life. So, reduce your fresh carrots to a level that doesn't give you ill effects. Try some daily cooked and some fresh veggies, it'll keep you healthier, especially if you choose lots of variety.
