When you get the flu shot, there's a chance of developing a low fever. Is the fever contagious or it's just the body's reaction to the shot?

"Flu shots" are weak or dead -varieties- of the flu virus, so your body can adapt with a antivirus to combat it. It could be just your body is reacting. Also, doctors and clinics never really can tell - ahead of time - what virus is "out there", so they give you "a cocktail (variety)" of flu vaccine. You could be reacting to one of those - or even possibly to the real thing, but that is somewhat less likely, considering the little information given.

Fever is NEVER contagious ... it is always the body's reaction to something
