How should my mom walk me down the aisle?

at my wedding, when my mom walks me down the aisle how should we walk together? i see when a father walks a daughter down the aisle they lock in their arms (like their arms are crossed over each other at a right angle, sorry hard to explain) but to me that seems like a girl and boy, gf and bf, daughter and father thing. should we hold hands or something?

Locking arms is just fine for your mom too. Someone else should help with a train if needed. Certainly not the person of honor walking you down the aisle. I'm assuming she'll give you away also?

It is your wedding, do as you please; as long as it does not hurts your Mom's feelings. What not the two of you talk about it?

You want to make it look like you are helping her walk down but she's the one guiding you...if that makes sense.
