Birds have what is called a cloaca it is the opening where .. well pretty much everything happens, both the males and females have this opening. When they maite.. they basically press these openings together and rub back and forth, the male's sperm goes inside the female's cloaca and the eggs get fertilized.

so basically, birds feathers move like a flap and a lil birdy pecker comes out
Report as
no birds don't have "penises" .. they just.. well.. rub those openings together and the fluid flows from one into the other.

What do you think those white splats are on your car?
Report as
funny
Report as
that is true though Elijah .. their urine and feces are "all in one" the clear stuff you see if you find a fresh dropping is urine, the white and green are the feces.. and it all comes from the same cloaca.. as I said it is where *everything* happens.

They mate, not all that differently from mammals, then the female lays eggs, sits on them to keep them warm until the baby birds hatch out. In some species the male helps with this, in others not.

The boy bird attracts the girl bird, and they....well you know. Then the girl bird lays some eggs and depending on what kind of birds either she, or the boy bird or both take care of the eggs until they hatch.
