My wife and I once attended a weekend workshop and, as is often the case, we were each asked to say a few words about ourselves, by way of introduction.
The bull-dust flowed like flood waters as each person tried to sound as accomplished as possible so, when it finally came to my turn, I just said, "My name is Dodgy and I'm nobody at all."
The facilitator said, "My goodness. We're really going to have to work on your self esteem."
That was too much for my wife who jumped in and said, "You leave his self esteem alone. If he gets any more I'm going to leave home."
So, Mr Guy, how do you get it? First, get rid of that silly name you use. When you call yourself a loser you inevitably think of yourself as a loser and people will treat you like one. Be confident. Be strong. Be comfortable that you are a unique human being and that, even if you can't do what Mr A can do, you know that Mr B could never do the things that you can.
Don't try to be like anybody else. Be yourself. Leap out of bed in the morning, beat your chest, and scream defiance at the world. This is YOUR life. Take it by the throat and make it what you want.
