According To The Word of the Most High God (Bible), W e Know T h a t Earth As We Know It T o d a y W i l l Receive The Ultimate Makeover; Totally Replaced With Only Good No More Evil. ><> Scripture Quote ><> Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. Revelation 12:1 English Standard Version
The planet earth will be destroyed by fire (in about 4 Billion years) But the population of earth could be destroyed in as little as 1.1 Billion years. Of course it could be much sooner. But in that case, it wouldn't be by fire but by bacteria or virus'.

NOTE PLEASE some texts that of the literal earth along with other material references:
(Ecclesiastes 1:4, 5) “.?.?.A generation is going, and a generation is coming; but the EARTH is standing even to time indefinite. 5?And the sun also has flashed forth, and the sun has set, and it is coming panting to its place where it is going to flash forth.”.”
(Isaiah 45:18) “18?For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.?.?.”
AS TO who is responsible for the ruination & how God will deal with them:
(Revelation 11:18) “.?.?.But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to BRING TO RUIN , those ruining the earth.””
SIMPLY STATED " ....thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it does in heaven.......:".Mathew 6:9
When that section of the Bible was written, the author(s) had no knowledge of science - having "visions" was taken as a prophecy meant to be literal. Science has continually proven these myths are ridiculous to believe literally - which is why the hyper religious despise science. Every year we get another current prophet telling us the world will end on some specific date not long off from now. We just went through another one because an ancient calendar was running out. Ridiculous - but the superstitious are easy to manipulate. Besides the scientific prediction of the sun's fuel running out - around 4 billion years from now - causing it to expand to a Red Giant which will definitely destroy just about everything on the earth - if not the earth itself, there are other things we are watching carefully - among them are the potential evolution of a super virus that we have no way to fight. Smallpox killed more humans than all human wars put together over a 4 year span. We managed to eradicate this scourge using science, not by praying.
no the earth will not be destroyed but this earth age will die or renew. God will eventualy bring his thrown to earth and where God is heaven is. there are three earth ages, the first. was during and after satans rebelion. the second, we are living in. the third is just in the very near future, after satan gets thrown down to earth and Jesus comes back as king of kings and lord of lords.
No. Jehovah God created the earth to be lived on forever. He says that the earth was not created for nothing it was created to be inhabited ( Isaiah 45:18). He also says that Psalms 104:5 says the earth will be here to time indefinite and Psalms 119:90 says that the earth is fixed solid to keep standing.Psalms 37:29 says that the righteous will live forever on the earth. There are scriptures that talk about " new heavens and new earth but studying the surrounding verses teaches us that this is not talking about the literal heavens ( as nothing is wrong with the heaven) and not the literal earth. The Bible does say " heavens and the earth being stored up for fire" but this is not the literal heavens and earth. As we look at the context it is compared to Noah's day and in that time the earth was still here but the people that were not obeying God were destroyed not the literal earth. The whole Bible is written as a letter from Jehovah God, the " word of God", and it all goes together( 1 Thessalonians 2:13). To understand one scripture we look at the context and also other scriptures about that same subject so we can get the message God intended( Romans 15:4).
No, It is specifically stated in the Bible that the "earth was made to stay forever. According to Palms 104:5, the permanence of the earth is emphasized by two words used in the original Hebrew of that text - "time indefinite" God made the earth to be inhabited by humans - to e a lush, global paradise of delight, not a wasteland - Isaiah 45:18 - "For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the true God, the Forever of the earth and the maker of it, He the one who firmly establish it who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited. I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
it says, the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
this scenario is giving us idea that everything that we see in the universe will be melted and destroyed, all those celestial bodies, galaxies etc are goiing to be disolved with FERVENT HEAT. this is not an ordinary heat, it is a fervent heat. i have idea how it works but this is my answer to you. . .
the BIBLE IS VERY SCIENTIFIC, do not believe to those people who keep on saying that there is no science in the bible.
Thats a topic of debate. Certainly it will at least be reformed. IF heaven does turn out to be on earth it will be a perfect earth returned to how it was in Eden, not this cortupted, tired, worn out, used up place.

In the Hebrew Scriptures, the word used for earth as a planet is ?e?rets. ?E?rets refers to (1) earth, as opposed to heaven, or sky (Ge 1:2); (2) land, country, territory (Ge 10:10); (3) ground, surface of the ground (Ge 1:26); (4) people of all the globe (Ge 18:25). In the Greek Scriptures, ge denotes earth as arable land or soil. (Mt 13:5, 8) It is used to designate the material from which Adam was made, the earth (1Co 15:47); the earthly globe (Mt 5:18, 35; 6:19); earth as a habitation for human creatures and animals (Lu 21:35; Ac 1:8; 8:33; 10:12; 11:6; 17:26); land, country, territory (Lu 4:25; Joh 3:22); ground (Mt 10:29; Mr 4:26); land, shore, as contrasted with seas or waters. (Joh 21:8, 9, 11; Mr 4:1). Therefore in harmony with what the scriptures say at Ps 37:11; 115:16; Isa 45:18 and Re 21:3, 4 when the Bible speaks of the "earth" as being destroyed it is not speaking of the literal planet.
