Hurt from soccer practice.

I got hit on my back/neck at soccer practice today. It hurts to turn my head and it's pretty sore. Do I ice it, apply heat or what? I have a game Wednesday so need to be ready by then. All help is appreciated!

Alternate heat with ice; 20 min each.

Using ice for first 36 hours to help with pain and swelling, then alternate ice for twenty minutes then heat for twenty minutes. Try some Aleve every twelve hours.
