Hyperextended knee or overuse?
About 5 months ago, I fell from about 6 feet up into a pool and smashed my knee against the bottom while it was bent. I couldn't walk for a few days, and have had pain while running or bending it ever since. I went to a doctor and they just brushed it off--called it growing pains. 5 months later it still hurts me. Is it just overuse or is it a never healed hyperextended knee? I just started basketball at my school and it hurts even worse now. Thanks!
