What is a good small cheap pet for someone who is home alone most of the time?....

my duck just died and I can't find anymore... as long as it will keep you from being lonely I'm fine with it...

How about a small dog? THey dont eat as much as big dogs, but little lap dogs are so cute and the perfect company!! If you have dog fur allergies, get a hypo allergetic lap dog (may cost between $100-$300) but its worth it!

Parakeets ( always get two as they get lonely for their own kind), hamster, or turtle :)

Guinea pig, hamster, ferret. These are all nice and clean, and hours of fun. Small dogs are easily house trained and make great companions too.

Awe, sad face mags! Maybe a hedgehog? Or a bunny? If you train em right they can use their cage as they need to but they can be very friendly. Good luck dear.

Maggots! You ate your duck! Oh well. Actually I think duck meat is terrible. Oh, and I ate my pet bunny years ago. Yuck. My mom put him in the spaghetti sauce and only told me later. I am scarred for life

snakes are low maintenance, and pretty cool, they don't have to eat every day, I have a corn snake, he eats 3 mice once every 2 to 3 weeks, I also have 2 cats their good pets as well.

Warm fuzzy kittens, fun and lively puppies or small bouncy dogs, are all fun. Get anything you think you might love or that you have always wanted since you were a kid. Have fun! : D
