Any tips on how to care for my mouth post wisdom tooth operation

this coming Monday I am having all 4 wisdom teeth out. I am going under general anaesthetic. the dr's have given me some tips but does anyone have any handy tips on how to deal with the pain and swelling, or what I can look forward to with going under a general.

I probably overreacted, did not eat much for a few days. I did not want to deal with the possibility of losing the blood clot.

Don't chew, don't suck, take it easy... use the painkiller when you need it. You have a few days, look up recipes for foods you can eat.

Not a doctor, dentist, or qualified to give medical advice.

Get a bag of frozen peas or corn. It will help with the swelling. Also after surgery you will be tired. put a towel over your pillow for the blood. It will seem like a lot of blood but that's because it is mixed with drool so don't stress.
