Well it always depends on your age :) if your a teenager don't hold yourself too hard on that, we always go brought that stage and have a hard time adjusting. It may be that you are depressed as well, take a step back and try to see if you might be depressed or not, sometimes this can seriously alter your life, I'd go to a doctor if you think you might be. Also knowing what you want in life is a huge motivational kicker. My dream is to be a teacher in English, so everything I do can have a connection to that. If it has importance on my career then I do it and have motivation to see it through to the end! Perhaps think about the things that you enjoy doing, do them more keep happy and looking forward rather than being in the moment or looking back at the past. And if your in school and you happen to be talking about school work or something, don't sweat it everyone has that feeling stroppy some point. The 'why should I bother' crosses everyone's mind at least once. Just stick to your guns and try to follow your dream :)
Ask yourself a few things. What do you want to do? Become a famous actor or a bodybuilder or a guitarist or something? It doesn't matter. If you have a dream then at the moment it's a dream. It is not reality. What are you doing? Sitting at your computer asking people why you aren't getting where you want to be? If you have a dream, then only you can make it a reality. Dreams can come true, but certainly not if you put nothing into it. How can you expect to get anywhere by doing nothing? Imagine what you could be. Imagine yourself, in the future, with this goal a reality. How good does it feel? Pretty good. You want it don't you? Stop sitting here asking yourself questions and get up and start your journey. NOW!!!
The bible states at Matthews 5:3 Happy is the man or woman conscious of our spiritual need. So we will never be truly happy if we neglect our spiritual need. It's like the physical food that we consume daily, if we neglect that, we will get sick physically. The same is true with our spiritual need, in order to be healthy we have to have a diet that consist of that as well.
Often times, we feel a measure of happiness and contentment with the way things are going in our life and sometimes it feels like something else is missing, or we do not feel complete on the inside. That could be our spiritual need.
The bible is not just an old book written many years ago, but it hold hope for the future and give practical suggestions for us in our day to day life. It will help you to really discover a new you. Hope this was encouraging to you.
