Hello, my name is Ryan. I'm a 19 year old from Manitoba. I always wanted to have a career in being a race car driver any pointers?

I'm 19 with no experience on a professional level at all, I'm 5'10" and I seem to be impressing people with times I set at local go karting tracks. I'm extremely serious about racing and take it like my life depends on it as a serious career for the part that people would recognize me. For the most part I think I would be worth a try in a bigger playing field yet I don't have any people to help me through that have been through the ropes and it saddens me because it's been a dream better yet a passion and ill do what it takes to make me a professional driver I've even looked into Skip Barber Racing School but will anyone recognize me there or even bother sponsoring me? Please help me out because I think this is the one thing I'm really good at. Thanks!
