Can I join law enforcement even though I'm transgender?

I'm transgender (female to male) and I've always wanted to join the military ever since I was a child. But even though the Don't Ask, Don't Tell law was revoked, transgender people are still seen as unfit to serve (which I believe is ridiculous because anyone should be able to fight and sacrifice for their country). But regardless of this, the next best thing to the military for me would be law enforcement (police officer, FBI, CIA, detective, etc.). Do they allow transgender people to join law enforcement? Do they support that type of thing? I'd appreciate any information you could give me on this.

Depends on the state. Most states do not have any limitations on LGB or T status. The military is a totally different world with it's own laws, and even those are changing soon. I will say that if you are looking at FBI you are better with a criminal justice degree, and some military service, and CIA almost exclusively hires from DoD contractors and military anymore. Just get your POST certification and start applying.
