Debit card is always a bad choice. If anyone gets the code they can empty your bank account. Prepaid cards limit your risk since no one can steal more than you put in them. A regular credit card has the lowest risk, since you are not responsible for misuse over $50. The downside to a regular credit card is that you can be tempted to charge more than you can afford to pay back. If you are starting out, use a prepaid credit card. Once you are comfortable with using credit, get a regular credit card. Never use a debit card.
I never use prepaid debt cards all the fees they charge it better to go to a bank cause u can have free checking and a debt card Plus it will save u money and they won't let u use your card it u baught something foe ten bucka but only had five in your account they won't let u.use your card. Ore paid is a ripp off. I will never be a slave to a credit card company there a bunch of crooks and if I can't afford it I don't want it. To buy something on a card or will take u years to pay it off just buy paying the minimum. I never had a credit card and I never will.
I only use credit cards and usually cancel the card when the APR goes way up. Now gota do that again. Just make sure you either get it all paid off every month or else have no APR on it or your interest will be overwhelming before long.
