Supplements for interesting dreams?

are there any good supplements which work well with high metabolisms to create really vivid, possibly lucid, dreams?

I heard this but have not tried it--for the simple and foolish reason that we don't currently have anything in the house that produces a loud static noise.... Tsk.

But if you cut a ping pong ball in half and affix those to each of your eye sockets, then stare at a light which glows red, and listen to loud static, you will apparently have vivid hallucinations. Can't wait to try it, although part of me thinks it's likely to be nonsense.

This is while awake, of course. But it's for the same result, sort of???

Interesting question. I actually experimented with that very same idea when I was younger. I found these few supplements to be beneficial at a psychoactive level after some lengthy research and dosage juggling: sulbutiamine (B-6), L-theanine desmopressin, and galantamine. But my most vivid and lucid dreams were when I once fell asleep with a nicotine cessation patch on. Wild. Best of luck.
