Why are most Christians (especially the fundamentalists) so hypocritical?
As a lesbian, I can't help but wonder why so many of them are against gay marriage. First of all, marriage isn't a religious ceremony. There are records of marriages being performed far before religion adopted it. In today's society, marriage is considered to be a legal contract, and isn't there supposed to be separation between church and state? Since the answer is yes, why do people feel that because of their religion, a marriage between two men or two women should not be performed? On top of this, many Christians are always bashing gays for sinning, yet most of them sin almost every day of their life. They tend to ignore that playing with the skin of a pig (football) is a sin, being around a woman on her period is a sin, and almost every other unavoidable thing that occurs on a daily basis is a sin. I'm sorry, but I just can't comprehend the amount of stupidity and hypocrisy going on with these people.
