You can be alone and not lonely. You need to like yourself and continue to better yourself daily. You can find friendship thru family and volunteerism. You don't need to be eccentric; folks in bad relationships will envy you. You too could become that old guy down the street with millions hidden in his mattress :-)
You'll save a lot of money that way, when I was single I had a 5 digit bank account, could buy whatever, whenever, but not that I'm married and have kids I'm like. "I wanna but this song on iTunes, but it's .99 cents, so I'll have to wait until payday." The other good part is that you're free to date around all you like, you never have to look at somebody and say "If I weren't married ..."
I am a about to turn 38 next week been single my whole life. I am so used to it. I can't even imagine what it would be like to be in a relationship. I don't really have a problem with being single. My problem is when I see someone that is in the wrong relationship which pisses me off . I see girls in a abusive types of relationships that stay with these clowns . They can do so much better. My motto is if women aren't going for me at least go for someone better.
Its great when your surrounded by people who are single and have time on there hands its hard when your the only single one out of a group because you do get sad and feel left out and want someone to come home to or be by your side but if you have great friends then everything is great being single you get to leave whenever,do what you want live for yourself and not someone else can make your own decisions instead of thinking about how its gonna hurt or effect the other person.
