ive been diagnosed with sleep apnea. does a cpap machine really make a difference in the quality of sleep?or is this a scheme by the doctors

Report as

Studies have shown that using a C-PAP machine during sleep can, in fact, improve the quality of sleep in patients diagnosed with sleep apnea. The trouble is, however, that to wear the mask, you have to be laying stationary on your back throughout the night. For some, this can be difficult and even uncomfortable, despite the benefits it provides.
